Getting an API key (Own key only)
Free, Basic and Pro need no key at all — they run on Gramai's own. On the Own key plan you paste a key from the provider you pick into the options page. Get one here:

Frequently asked
The Gramai menu item does nothing
Select some text first. The context menu items only act on the text you've highlighted — right-clicking without a selection won't do anything.
It doesn't work in Google Docs
Google Docs draws its text on a canvas rather than in editable HTML, so Gramai can't read or replace a selection there. This is a known limitation with no current workaround.
Nothing happens in Safari
Safari grants website access per site. Go to Safari → Settings → Extensions → Gramai, and allow the site you're on (or choose "Always Allow on Every Website"). Until a site is allowed, the Gramai menu item does nothing there.
My selection was too long
Free and Basic handle up to 3,000 characters per action; Pro and Own key handle up to 8,000. Select a shorter passage, or fix it in a few smaller pieces.
I've used up my 10 free actions
The 10 free actions are counted once per installation and don't reset. To keep going, pick a plan on the pricing page — Basic or Pro still need no API key of your own, and Own key is a one-time payment that runs on your own provider key.
